01Brand

The mark, and the rules for using it.

Everything here is downloadable and free to use for press, partners and anyone writing about the studio. The only thing we ask is that the mark is not redrawn, recoloured or used in a way that implies an endorsement.

02The mark

A set of nested level curves converging on a point: the picture of an optimum. It is the same object the site's background draws, reduced until it still reads at sixteen pixels. There is no icon of a brain, a circuit or a neural network, and there will not be one.

03Colour

Colour

The company palette is achromatic on purpose. Colour is reserved for individual products, so that a product accent always means something rather than decorating the page. Every text tone below clears WCAG AA against the surfaces it is used on, in both themes.

Usage

Please do

  • Use the supplied SVG files, unmodified.
  • Leave clear space around the mark of at least the height of the inner dot.
  • Use the black mark on light backgrounds and the white mark on dark ones.
  • Write the name as “Lluyot Labs” — two words, both capitalised.

Please do not

  • Recolour, rotate, outline, or add effects to the mark.
  • Stretch it, or reconstruct it from a screenshot.
  • Place it on a busy background where the level curves stop reading.
  • Use it in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor or supplied a product.

Boilerplate

Lluyot Labs is an independent technology studio and research lab. It turns mathematics, artificial intelligence and data science into products — from the formulation of a problem to the software that solves it. Its first public product, Broncea, is available on Google Play.
